I am going to be taking a break from swg for a few months. I tried to stick out the cu but the nerfs keep rolling in and bugs are not getting fixed. With the cu countless hours of work and credits went down the drain and now with publish 17, all be pets were neutered into worthlessness. SOE does not care about veteran players. They just care about the short term gains and this might be their undoing. I will miss you guys and perhaps I will be back in the future.

I don't know if I have the words to describe Margot Sedai to you. Margot to me is selfless, caring, generous. Margot was one of the founders for Rhuidean and in the formative states of EGC. Margot has helped this guild and Rhuidean SO many countless ways behind the scenes. Not only did Margot create the Lucky Lekky, at the time one of the best cantina's in all of SWG, but also helped to support the city with donations, supporting the Marketplaces, and also supporting Margoritaville on dantooine singlehandedly.
Never did Margot ask for help, or complain because he was paying so much money weekly to these endevors, because that is NOT Margot. Margot would always help over and over again and NEVER complain or expect anything in return. Margot is the perfect kind of player all of us should strive to be, always willing to help others to make sure everyone ELSE was having fun in the game.
This is indeed a dark day for EGC, Corbantis, and all of SWG when we lose someone like Margot.
On a personal note, there are a select few whom I would consider a close friend and confidant. This would include, people like Vilance, Balbacca, Tarwin, Ulfhere, Aesher, Lendyl, and Margot. Margot may have been the closest to me personally of all of the above, and I would consider myself VERY good friends with the other people listed. Margot stopped being Margot months ago to me when we learned each others names. We would not just talk about SWG to each other anymore, but about our lives, as true friends.
I know I will still have Margot's email and can contact him, but to me it is still a VERY SAD day to me that on a selfish note I won't have my good friend to talk to every day anymore. I won't have Margot to talk to me about the newest patch or rumors. I won't have Margot to ask advice with Guild stuff. I won't have my buddy to talk about life with.
As a thanks to Margot for his service to the guild, Ulfhere has decreed today to be "MARGOT SEDAI DAY!"
Odderic mayor of Rhuidean is in works to get a statue or park errected in honor of Margot and I suggest whoever inherits the Lucky Lekku from Margot rename it "Margot Memorial Cantina".
Heres to Margot, and I hope we see him someday back in the game!

I can honestly say I am sorry to see Margot leave this guild in any way, shape, or form. Margot was personally responsible for educating me on all the things I was ignorant about the Architect profession. Prior to this, I was I quite poor and it took me almost a year to make my first million credits and to gather the resources to make my own Heavy harvestors. I went from an ok crafter to a very wealthy one thanks to Margot. I am not certain if everyone knows all you do for the guil. Margot pays for dozens of structures in the Guild. All the while, running multiple accounts (I think the count was up to 9?). The time and effort of doing behind the scenes efforts is appricated. Odderic and I wracked our brains to come up with choicest words to honor him and we placed them on a statue that has been placed in RH. Margot, always know you have a home with us. Thank you for sharing your insights with us.
