Guild Roles and Responsibilities

Guild Leader (one) - Proactive role of creating the rules and responsibilites of other leaders in the guild. Arbitrates disbutes from within the guild or from without. Oversees the growth and support of the guild. Aids leaders so they do not fail in their tasks.

Assistant Guild Leaders (two) - As the Guild Leader cannot be on at all times, the Assistant Guild Leaders role is to handle any situation as outlined by the Guild Leader until he becomes available, then inform the Guild Leader of any problems/disputes/ ideas discussed in their absence.

Mayor (one per city) - To find trusted members to become militia of their city, or fufill the role of Financial Officer, and Recruitment Officer. The Mayor makes the determination and maintains the growth in their city which includes Commerce, Structures, and Citizens. They shall also plan for group events, such as a Guild Hunt. One event should be planned occasionally to be held or begun in your city. You must have the profession Politician.

Financial Officer (one per city) - The job of the financial officer is to create wealth in the form of material sales which is used to pay the taxes of the guild. A financial officer must pay all the costs associated with creating the wealth. Profits are kept by the Financial Officer. A Financial Officer is required to have the Artisan profession with Buisness 3 or higher. This is required to gain a Vendor so you may sell the materials you are gathering.

You must insure you have a supply of harvestors. Upon entering the guild, you should ask the new guild member what professions they are persuing. After your request, ask the new player if they will donate one of their lots to fund the city. Most players do not object unless they are an artisan themselves. You must explain to the new player, they must place the harvestor, and then add you to the administration list. Once you are on the administration list, thank the new player and begin paying the costs to run the harvestors, gather the best material you can at the highest percentage rate, and check the harvestors daily. Sell the material on your vendor for 2 cpu (2 credits per unit. 1460 units of material would be sold for 2920 credits). Or on the bazaar in a major city like Bestine or Coronet.

Recruitment Officer (one per city) - Your resposibility is to recruit new members based upon your city's needs and your Mayor's directive. You are the leader of the militia. You will be responsible for having extra houses on hand. You will education other militia members on how to Send a welcome letter, place a house, grant zoning rights (and take them away when the house is placed and make public), give the new player 10k starting money, tell them about the website, and join the conversation in guild chat. You are the liason between the Mayor and the militia.

Militia (multiple per city) - A person who has been given additional power within a city to include new members into joining the city. Anyone who gives 10k, and places a house or the new member will be sent 15k for their efforts from the Guild Leader. Mayors and Assistant Guild Leaders do not receive this bonus.

Lead (one per profession) - A master of their profession who wishes to help others understand how to become a master of that profession. You share your knowledge with the new players in the form of answering direct questions, or by writing a detailed Guide so it may be posted on the website (Only exception to one person per profession is the Mayors, of our cities are all Co-Politician leads).

It is possible to have multiple Titles, but the highest title will be used in reference to you. For example, the Guild Leader could also be a Mayor of his own city and his own Financial Officer. Refer any questions to the Guild Leader if you do not understand what your duties should be, or the duties of those who you are responsible for should be doing.
