EGC was originally SKNV INC, for the members of the Incorporation...Sanq, Konel, Nights, and Vilance. Later a formal Guild of Crafters was created...Engineer Guild Conglomerate(EGC). EGC was founded by a small handfull of Crafters consisting of Vilance, Nights, Hammerin, Nelson, Margot, and Tazzy. The First and Primary EGC Hall was placed by Nights near Bestine/Anchorhead, Tatooine (-772, -4660) on the Corbantis Server. Nights placed the Building as the chief Architect at the time and made a typo, "Engineer Giuld Conglomerate" in the guild name that stands to this day.

Soon the guild Hierachy developed and the leadership core emerged. With Vilance as coordinator, Nights as Co-Leader, Nelson as Chef, Tazzy as Droid Lead, and Margot as Furniture/Architect Lead to name a few. With the creation of Player Cities EGC decided to get involved with the creation of Rhuidean (-5267, -5476). Rhuidean was founded by Gronn. It was formed as a neutral/crafter city. These values were the core beliefs of EGC. Afterall Neutrality is best for business during the ravages of the Galatic Civil War.

Rhuidean would eventually grow to become the largest player city on all of Tatooine. Baroun and Irish left to start Usu Enki, EGC's second official city, which in time became its own guild. Soon Rhuidean's great guilds: BGHI, ICH, and VOF would all leave to start there own cities. VOF infact created Freedom Valley: home of the Nym Prize X-Wing. The "little guild that could" had been involved in many successful and thriving cities across Corbantis.

Red Dawn was the third official EGC city created by Teelow. Red Dawn, near Nym's Stronghold on Lok (-2220, 4068), is a large vast city with a river running through it and a shuttleport.

At the end of 04' Chunkbacca became mayor of Red Dawn, and Odderic became mayor of Rhuiden. Also Vilance stepped down as the leader. However Vilance will remain on as an assitant with MDE, and Ulfhere will now be the leader.

As of June of '05 EGC has grown to Three Cities: Rhuidean, Red Dawn, and Conglomerate on Corellia.

To this day EGC is one of the largest crafter guilds on all of Corbantis. They are inclusive of all Races, all Faction Standings, and all Professions. EGC strives to have multiple members of each crafting profession, with officers at the top of each acting as supervisors, and lastly with our Guild Leader acting as the coordination for all our efforts and goals. EGC has proven in a brutal galaxy with death and war as common as the Tatooine sand, that a Crafting Guild can, is, and will continue to survive and provide great products and service to all.
